
Catherine Lockhart is originally from Greenville, South Carolina. In 2004 she moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida. Catherine graduated magna cum laude with honors from the Florida State University with a BA in Political Science and Religious Studies. She then attended the Florida State University College of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2017.
Catherine began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida where she appeared in misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony court. She then transitioned to Children's Legal Services in Jacksonville working to protect child victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect for the State of Florida. She has extensive litigation experience in both criminal law and child advocacy.
