
Marcus Ray Steverson earned his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He then went on to attend Barry University School of Law, graduating in the top third of his class, and has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 2016.
Marcus has experience working in both government and private practice. He has served as a Law Clerk at the Ninth Circuit State Attorney's Office in Orlando, Florida and for the Office of the Chief Counsel at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Prior to joining the team at Holland Law Group, Marcus gained invaluable skills in the courtroom by practicing debt collection, insurance subrogation, and commercial litigation throughout the state of Florida for three years as a plaintiff's attorney, and eventually joined a national defense litigation firm with a focus on employment law, medical malpractice, negligence, and ADA cases.
Marcus has served his central Florida community as a Volunteer Officer for the Orange County Sheriff's Office since 2015 and continues to do so. As a result of his commitment to community and profession, he has twice been awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2016 and 2017. Marcus is licensed in Florida courts, as well as the federal courts of the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and has taken dozens of cases to trial with successful verdicts for his clients. He practices in our Orlando, Florida office serving the Central Florida region.
