Kristina is a native of Miami, Florida. Born to Cuban immigrant parents, she is the first in her family to go to college and obtain a law degree. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Florida summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Political Science. Kristina remained at the University of Florida for law school and graduated in 2010.
Kristina is a member of the Florida bar and is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern District of Florida. She has over ten years of experience in zealous advocacy of debtors in foreclosures, bankruptcy, and debt collection lawsuits. She is passionate in helping debtors resolve issues with harassing creditors. Kristina is the co-chair of the Miami-Dade bankruptcy pro bono committee and is involved in mentoring law students interested in learning bankruptcy and consumer debt defense.
